Hi my name is Sharonda. I have two adopted children, Joshua and Tamia. I am also a therapeutic foster mom and have three foster children that are in my care. In my household we are all a family. All of the children get along really well. It is amazing to see the children grow, develop and accomplish things that they wouldn't have been able to if they were not in my home. As a single mother, sometimes it's challenging, but what keeps me going is the love that I get from my children.

When I go out in public with my children, nobody would ever know which kids were adopted and which kids I am fostering. I love all of my children the same. People get a little leery because I have two four year olds and two five year olds and they say, oh you had twins twice. I just smile and keep on going. There is nothing in the world that I love more, than my children. For me adoption and fostering have been the greatest experience of my life. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
