For Foster Kids is where foster children and youth will be able to find programs, internships, grants, websites and other opportunities to help them achieve their goals. CCAI's Congressional Internship Program provides former foster youths, who are enrolled in college, graduate school, or have recently graduated, an opportunity to intern in congressional offices for six weeks in the summer. This internship program raises awareness about the needs of the hundreds of thousands of children in foster care and those who have emancipated by bringing members of Congress in direct contact with those who have experiential knowledge of the system.

Supplemental to the interns' work on Capitol Hill, CCAI enhances their experiences by organizing an orientation and training program, bi-monthly educational sessions, and a mid-summer retreat. In addition, CCAI provides a stipend, covers all housing and travel expenses, and acts as an ongoing support network for the program's participants.
